AVS - Benfica 0:3

Benfica got off to a flying start under new head coach José Mourinho, cruising to a dominant 3-0 away win over ABC in Matchday 6 of the Primeira Liga.

The Eagles took control early and never looked back. Ukrainian midfielder Heorhii Sudakov opened the scoring just before the break, marking his debut with a clinical finish that showcased exactly why Benfica were so eager to bring him in this summer.

Just minutes later, Greek striker Vangelis Pavlidis doubled the lead from the penalty spot, confidently sending the keeper the wrong way. In the second half, young Croatian talent Franjo Ivanović added the third with a tidy finish to put the result beyond doubt.

ABC struggled to pose any real threat throughout the match, and the visitors controlled possession and tempo from start to finish. With this result, Benfica secure their fourth league win of the season and continue to apply pressure in the race for the top spot.
