Lazio - AS Roma 0:1

AS Roma claimed a crucial win in the latest chapter of the Derby della Capitale, defeating fierce city rivals Lazio 1-0 in Matchday 4 of the Serie A season.

It was Lorenzo Pellegrini who made the difference, finding the net just before half-time to give Roma a lead they would not relinquish. Ukrainian striker Artem Dovbyk, once again left on the bench by head coach Gian Piero Gasperini, was brought on in the 66th minute — but by then, the Giallorossi had already seized control of the game.

Lazio struggled to mount a response, and their task was made even harder in the closing stages, when both Duje Ćaleta-Car and Mattéo Guendouzi were shown red cards, reducing the home side to nine men.
