Frankfurt - Union Berlin 3:4

Union Berlin came out on top in a wild, seven-goal shootout against Eintracht Frankfurt in what proved to be the most entertaining clash of Bundesliga Matchday 4.

The visitors flew out of the blocks, with early goals from Ansa and Berg putting them firmly in control. Frankfurt managed to respond just before the break through Brown, who reduced the deficit in first-half stoppage time.

After the restart, Alexander Berg took over. The Union striker struck twice in the span of 11 minutes to complete his hat-trick — a standout performance that looked to have sealed the points for the visitors.

But Eintracht weren’t done. Goals from Can Uzun and Jonathan Burkardt gave the home fans hope and nearly completed a remarkable comeback. In the end, though, it was too little, too late — and Union Berlin held on for a dramatic 4-3 victory.
