Luis Enrique

Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique has been awarded the prestigious Johan Cruyff Trophy as Coach of the Year. The decision came as little surprise after the Spaniard guided PSG through a record-breaking campaign.

Historic achievements

Under Enrique’s leadership, PSG lifted the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history, added the UEFA Super Cup, and swept every domestic competition on offer. It marked an unprecedented haul of silverware and set a new benchmark for the French champions.

Global recognition

This summer, PSG also reached the final of the newly expanded FIFA Club World Cup, contested by 32 teams for the first time. While they fell short in the decider, the run underlined the club’s growing stature on the world stage and capped a remarkable year for Enrique and his squad.
