AS Roma - Verona 2:0

Artem Dovbyk opened his account for the 2025/26 Serie A season, helping AS Roma secure a confident 2-0 home win over Hellas Verona at the Stadio Olimpico.

The Ukrainian international struck early, heading home a pinpoint cross from Zeki Çelik in the 7th minute to give the Giallorossi the lead. It was Dovbyk’s 12th career goal in the Italian top flight — and a timely reminder of his attacking prowess.

Roma sealed the win late in the second half, as substitute Matías Soulé capitalized on a lightning-fast counterattack. Latching onto a through ball from Kouamé Koné, the Argentine forward calmly slotted past the Verona goalkeeper to make it 2-0.
