Ruslan Malinovskyi returned to the starting XI for Genoa, but the Ukrainian midfielder couldn't help his side avoid a convincing defeat at the hands of a dominant Lazio outfit.

The hosts struggled to impose themselves at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, lacking both intensity and creativity throughout the match. Malinovskyi picked up a yellow card in the 62nd minute for a late challenge — and things only went downhill from there. Just 60 seconds later, Lazio found the back of the net for the third time, effectively killing off the contest.

By the 68th minute, Malinovskyi was substituted, as Genoa boss reshuffled his squad in search of answers — but none came.
