Marseille - Ajax 4:0

Roberto De Zerbi’s Olympique Marseille put on a scintillating display at the iconic Stade Vélodrome, dismantling Dutch giants AFC Ajax in a dominant performance that left the visitors with no chance.

The French side came out flying and wrapped the game up within the first half-hour. A lightning-quick start saw Marseille 2–0 up by the 13th minute, and just when Ajax looked to settle, a third goal in the 26th minute effectively ended the contest.

From that point on, the hosts showed maturity and control, dictating the tempo and shutting down any response from the Dutch side. Ajax struggled to create meaningful chances, and Marseille punished them further in the second half with another clinical finish.
