Pafos FC - Bayern 1:5

It was a night to forget for Pafos FC as the Cypriot side came face-to-face with European giants FC Bayern Munich — and were swiftly brought back down to earth.

Any faint hopes the home crowd had for a respectable showing were extinguished within the opening 35 minutes, as Harry Kane and his ruthless teammates put four unanswered goals past a shell-shocked Pafos defence.

Bayern Munich, looking every bit the Champions League powerhouse they’re known to be, dominated every phase of play. Kane, clinical as ever, was at the heart of it — pulling strings, finishing chances, and reminding Europe why he’s one of the most feared forwards on the planet.

To their credit, Pafos did manage to find a consolation goal late on, offering a flicker of pride in an otherwise humbling night. But by then, the contest was long over — and so was any illusion of parity.
