Ethan Mbappé Haunts PSG in Costly Draw
The "Mbappé curse" continues to linger over Paris Saint-Germain — only now, it’s the younger brother doing the damage.
After a highly publicized and controversial departure of Kylian Mbappé this summer, PSG were dealt a fresh blow — this time by Ethan Mbappé. The 17-year-old midfielder came off the bench and scored a dramatic equaliser, denying his former club a vital three points.
PSG manager Luis Enrique rotated heavily, resting several key starters in anticipation of upcoming fixtures. However, when the situation became tense, Ukrainian defender Illia Zabarnyi was introduced in the second half to steady the ship. Still, it wasn’t enough to stop the late twist.
Despite dropping points, Paris Saint-Germain remain top of the Ligue 1 table — but the gap is closing fast. Marseille are now breathing down their necks, with two other challengers also within striking distance as the title race heats up.
