Chelsea Eye Brentford Midfielder Yehor Yarmolyuk
Ukrainian talent Yehor Yarmolyuk is reportedly attracting serious interest from several Premier League heavyweights, with Chelsea leading the chase ahead of the January transfer window.
According to teamTALK, the 21-year-old Brentford midfielder has emerged as a transfer target not only for the Blues, but also for Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, both of whom are monitoring the situation closely and considering winter bids.
However, Brentford are reportedly reluctant to part ways with the promising Ukrainian this winter. The West London club intends to hold onto Yarmolyuk at least until the end of the current campaign, despite growing interest. His contract runs through to the summer of 2031, giving Brentford a strong negotiating position.
So far this season, Yarmolyuk has made 9 appearances for Brentford—7 in the Premier League and 2 in the Carabao Cup—registering one assist. Despite limited game time, his performances have drawn attention from clubs in need of young, dynamic midfield reinforcements.
His current market value is estimated at €15 million, according to Transfermarkt, but that figure could rise quickly if interest turns into a bidding war this January.
