Jack Wilshere Appointed Luton Town Head Coach at 33
Former Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has been named the new head coach of Luton Town, marking a major step in his post-playing career.
Now 33, Wilshere transitions into senior management after coaching the Arsenal U18s since his retirement from professional football in 2022. He is set to be officially unveiled later today following the club’s afternoon media session.
Wilshere replaces Matt Bloomfield, who was relieved of his duties earlier this week after a difficult start to the season. Luton currently sit 11th in the Championship table, struggling for consistency after their relegation battle in the previous Premier League campaign.
The club's board expressed confidence that Wilshere’s arrival will inject "fresh energy and a new footballing philosophy" into the squad.
