Ballon d’Or winner and PSG talisman Ousmane Dembélé will miss tonight’s Ligue 1 showdown against Strasbourg, despite returning to full training during the international break.

The French forward has rejoined team sessions, but PSG’s medical staff have decided he still needs more time to fully recover. Head coach Luis Enrique confirmed that Dembélé will not feature this evening and refused to set a specific timeline for his return.

“He’s progressing well, but we don’t want to take any risks,” Enrique said. “It’s important that he comes back 100 percent ready.”

There is, however, good news for the Parisian side — Désiré Doué has recovered and is available for selection tonight.

PSG currently sit just one point ahead of Strasbourg at the top of the Ligue 1 table. The highly anticipated match kicks off at 20:45 CET.
