Chelsea cruise past Nottingham to move into Premier League top four

Nottingham Forest - Chelsea 0:3

Chelsea delivered a commanding performance in the opening fixture of Matchweek 8 of the Premier League, brushing aside Nottingham Forest with a convincing 3-0 away win.

All the goals came after the break, as London side came out firing in the second half. Quickfire strikes from Ernest Acheampong and Pedro Neto within the first seven minutes of the restart gave the visitors firm control.

Reece James sealed the victory late on, smashing home the third to cap off a dominant display by the Blues at the City Ground.

The win takes Chelsea up to fourth in the table on 14 points, continuing their strong start to the 2025/26 Premier League campaign.
