Harry Kane and Michael Olise struck crucial goals as Bayern Munich claimed a hard-fought 2-1 win over rivals Borussia Dortmund in the headline clash of Matchday 7 in the Bundesliga.
Kane opened the scoring with a typically composed finish, before Olise doubled Bayern’s lead to put the league leaders in full control at the Allianz Arena.
Julian Brandt pulled one back for Dortmund late in the second half to set up a tense finish, but the reigning champions held firm to secure all three points and extend their lead at the top of the table.
