Genoa - Parma 0:0

Genoa were left frustrated after being held to a 0–0 draw by Parma in a tense Serie A clash at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, despite playing against ten men for the entire second half.

Ukrainian midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi was named in the starting XI and featured for 81 minutes, picking up a yellow card but struggling to make a decisive impact in a game that lacked a cutting edge from the home side.

Parma were reduced to ten men shortly after the break, but Genoa failed to capitalise. Their golden opportunity came deep into stoppage time, when substitute Maxwel Cornet stepped up to take a penalty — only to see his effort saved by Japanese goalkeeper Zion Suzuki, who was the hero for the visitors.
