Red Bull star delivered a flawless performance to cap off a perfect weekend in Austin

Red Bull star Max Verstappen delivered a flawless performance to cap off a perfect weekend in Austin, claiming victory in the 2025 United States Grand Prix after winning both the sprint race and securing pole position in qualifying.

The reigning World Champion fended off an early challenge from Charles Leclerc and never looked back, showcasing clinical pace and control to take his another Grand Prix win of the season. Behind him, it was Lando Norris who surged late to grab second place for McLaren, overtaking Leclerc in the final stages.

Leclerc had to settle for third, just ahead of teammate Lewis Hamilton, while championship leader Oscar Piastri endured one of his most underwhelming races of 2025, finishing a disappointing fifth and losing key ground in the title fight.

The win marks a crucial step in Verstappen’s push to re-enter the championship battle. While both McLaren drivers — Piastri and Norris — still lead the standings, the Dutchman’s momentum is unmistakable, and Red Bull are suddenly back in contention.
