UEFA Confirms Bids for 2028 and 2029 Champions League Finals

UEFA has officially confirmed that it has received expressions of interest from member associations to host the finals of the UEFA Champions League, Europa League, Conference League and Women’s Champions League in 2028 and 2029.
At this stage, these are non-binding declarations of interest. The final bids, including full documentation and technical details, must be submitted by 10 June 2026.
For the 2028 UEFA Champions League Final, only one bid has been submitted so far — from Munich’s iconic Allianz Arena, home of Bayern Munich. Meanwhile, the battle for the 2029 final is shaping up between two football cathedrals: London’s legendary Wembley Stadium and Barcelona’s soon-to-be-renovated Camp Nou.
The next edition of the competition will culminate at the Ferenc Puskás Stadium in Budapest, which is set to host the 2026 UEFA Champions League Final on 30 May.
