RB Leipzig - VfB Stuttgart 3:1

RB Leipzig, sitting third before kickoff, hosted fourth-placed VfB Stuttgart in a highly anticipated Bundesliga clash — and came away with a convincing 3–1 victory that lifted them above Bayern Munich into second place.

The deadlock was broken right on the stroke of halftime. Yann Diomande burst down the flank and delivered a sharp low cross that Jeff Chabot unfortunately turned into his own net, gifting the hosts the lead.

Just moments after the restart, Leipzig doubled their advantage. Diomande once again proved decisive — intercepting a long ball from Christoph Baumgartner, cutting inside, and calmly slotting the ball into the bottom-right corner.

Both sides found the net in the closing stages, with Chris Führich (or Thomas, per reports) pulling one back for the visitors before Romulo sealed the win for the Saxon side.
