Verona - Inter 1:2

Inter Milan battled to a hard-fought victory away to Hellas Verona, keeping their place among the top three in the Serie A standings.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 16th minute thanks to a moment of brilliance from Piotr Zieliński. The Polish midfielder struck a thunderous volley from outside the box after a corner delivery, sending the ball flying past the helpless goalkeeper — a goal already being hailed as one of the best of the season.

Verona managed to equalize just before half-time and held firm for most of the second half. But in the dying minutes, disaster struck for the home side. A teasing cross from Nicolò Barella caused panic in the box, and Martin Frese inadvertently headed the ball into his own net — sealing a dramatic 2–1 win for Inter.

The victory keeps Inter Milan firmly in the title race as the 2025–26 Serie A season heats up.
