Official: Wolverhampton Sack Head Coach Vítor Pereira

Wolverhampton Wanderers have officially parted ways with head coach Vítor Pereira after the team failed to record a single win in their opening ten Premier League fixtures this season.
Saturday’s 0–3 defeat to Fulham marked the club’s eighth loss of the campaign, leaving the Wolves rooted to the bottom of the table — eight points adrift of safety.
Pereira took charge of the side in December 2024 and signed a new three-year deal as recently as September. However, his relationship with a section of the fanbase deteriorated following last week’s 2–3 loss to Burnley, when he refused to engage with supporters after the final whistle.
According to BBC Sport, Pereira was informed of his dismissal on Sunday morning. The club reportedly will not pay out his contract in full, signalling a clean break as Wolves look to turn their season around.
