After a short break, the heartbeat of European football is back

After a short break, the heartbeat of European football is back — the UEFA Champions League returns tonight with nine fixtures marking the start of the fourth round of the group stage.

Out of the 36 teams still battling for continental glory, five clubs remain unbeaten — and four of them are in action this evening. The headline clash features the reigning champions Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) facing off against Bayern Munich in what promises to be a heavyweight encounter. Yet another fixture could easily steal the spotlight — the historic showdown between Liverpool and Real Madrid. Despite the Reds experiencing one of the most turbulent periods in their modern history, Arne Slot’s side still commands respect as a perennial contender on Europe’s grandest stage.

Kick-off for most matches is scheduled for 21:00 local time. However, two games will get underway earlier — Sparta Prague vs Arsenal and Napoli vs Eintracht Frankfurt, both starting at 18:45.
