Lando Norris delivered a flawless weekend at the Brazilian Grand Prix 2025, cementing his status as one of the brightest stars in Formula 1. The McLaren driver won both qualifying sessions, triumphed in the sprint race, and capped it all off with a commanding victory in the main Grand Prix at Interlagos.

Norris led from the front and never put a foot wrong, finishing more than 10 seconds ahead of Andrea Kimi Antonelli in the Mercedes. But the story of the race was arguably Max Verstappen’s heroic charge — the Red Bull ace fought his way from a pit-lane start to a sensational third-place finish, even challenging Antonelli for P2 in the final laps.

It was a day to forget, however, for Norris’s teammate Oscar Piastri. The Australian tangled with Antonelli at the start, triggering contact that forced Charles Leclerc out of the race. A subsequent 10-second penalty dropped Piastri down the order, and he eventually crossed the line fifth — losing further ground to Norris in the 2025 Formula 1 Drivers’ Standings.
