Lando Norris Secures Pole at Las Vegas Grand Prix

McLaren driver Lando Norris claimed pole position for the Las Vegas Grand Prix in a rain-affected qualifying session, clocking the fastest lap to edge out Max Verstappen of Red Bull by 0.323 seconds. The Brit showcased remarkable skill in tricky conditions, underlining his growing dominance this season.
Meanwhile, Norris’ teammate and closest championship rival, Oscar Piastri, could manage only fifth on the grid, highlighting the gap between the two McLaren drivers this weekend.
Carlos Sainz impressed in a Williams, finishing third ahead of George Russell and Piastri in the Mercedes. Lewis Hamilton, driving a Ferrari, struggled with tire issues and was eliminated in the first session, expressing frustration over the team’s setup.
With three races remaining, Norris holds a 24-point advantage over Piastri and has now claimed his third consecutive pole position, continuing to assert himself as a leading force in the championship battle.
