Antonio Conte

Antonio Conte believes Napoli are heading into one of their toughest tests of the season when they face Qarabag on Tuesday night in the UEFA Champions League.

The Italian champions have endured a difficult European campaign so far, collecting just four points from their opening four matches.

“Qarabag can be considered one of the surprises of this Champions League,” Conte told reporters. “They’ve picked up seven points, even in tough away fixtures like the one against Benfica. In their last home game against Chelsea, they drew and almost won in the final minutes. They have many foreign players, but they are well integrated. We will need a lot of energy from the very start, because they bring intensity.”

Napoli will host Qarabag on Tuesday, 25 November at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. Kick-off is scheduled for 21:00 CET.
