High-Profile Assistant to Arne Slot Set to Leave Liverpool

Liverpool could face a significant setback to their coaching structure as Giovanni van Bronckhorst, assistant to manager Arne Slot, has expressed his desire to step away from his role.
According to indykaila News, the 50-year-old Dutch coach is being considered as a candidate to take charge of the Indonesia national team. Liverpool are reportedly prepared to release him should a formal offer arrive from the Indonesian FA.
Van Bronckhorst brings extensive managerial experience, having previously led Feyenoord, Besiktas and Rangers, winning at least one trophy with each club. However, success with Indonesia would pose a far greater challenge, with the national team currently ranked 122nd in the FIFA rankings and widely regarded as an underdog even in Asian football.
Should his departure be confirmed, Liverpool will be forced to reassess their backroom structure.
