Inter - Venezia 5:1

Inter Milan, under the guidance of Cristian Chivu, wasted no time asserting their dominance, putting the game beyond reach by the middle of the first half. Moussa Diouf opened the scoring, Sebastiano Esposito quickly doubled the lead, and just before half-time Marcus Thuram made it 3–0. Inter remained disciplined and structured throughout, leaving Venezia with little to no chance to get back into the game.

After the break, Thuram completed his brace, effectively sealing the result, although Sagrado pulled one back for Venezia. The final word, however, came from Bonny, who added a fifth goal to round off a comprehensive 5–1 victory. Inter Milan progress confidently to the quarter-finals and will now await the winner of the Roma vs Torino clash.
