Leeds United - Liverpool 3:3

Leeds United produced one of the most dramatic comebacks of the Premier League season, snatching a 3–3 draw against Liverpool thanks to a last-gasp strike from Ao Tanaka in the sixth minute of stoppage time. The hosts clawed their way back twice — first from 0–2, then from 2–3 — refusing to let the Reds escape a pulsating Elland Road with all three points. For Arne Slot’s side, it was another night marked by inconsistency and a costly loss of control.

The second half erupted into chaos when Chido Obi Ekwene Ekinike bagged a quickfire double within five minutes, putting Liverpool firmly ahead. But Leeds wouldn’t go quietly. A composed penalty from Dominic Calvert-Lewin — followed by a sharp finish from Florian Stach — reignited belief among the home supporters.

On 80 minutes, Dominik Szoboszlai restored Liverpool’s advantage with a precise strike, seemingly settling the match. However, the drama was far from over. Super-sub Ao Tanaka found space at a tight angle and fired home a stunning equaliser, sending Elland Road into absolute chaos.
