Qarabag - Ajax 2:4

Ajax finally ended their losing streak, earning a much-needed win on the road against Qarabag on Matchday 6 of the Champions League group phase. The hosts led 2–1 and were edging toward a spot in the play-offs, but the final minutes turned into a crushing setback for the Azerbaijani side.

A brilliant brace from Oscar Gloukh and a decisive strike by Anton Gaaei completely flipped the match, handing Ajax their first points of the tournament. For Qarabag, it was a missed opportunity to strengthen their position in the play-off zone — they remain stuck on seven points and left wondering how the win slipped away.
