Fulham - Liverpool 2:2

Liverpool were left stunned after conceding a last-gasp equaliser in a pulsating 2–2 draw against Fulham in Sunday’s Premier League clash — a match defined by late drama and two goals in stoppage time.

The visitors controlled possession from the opening whistle and looked sharp in the early exchanges. Cody Gakpo twice found himself in promising positions, but saw one effort blocked and another drift narrowly wide. In contrast, Fulham were ruthless with their first real chance. In the 19th minute, Harry Wilson raced through after a clever lay-off from Raúl Jiménez and finished coolly into the bottom corner to make it 1–0.

After the break, Liverpool turned the screw. Pressure mounted through set-pieces and crosses from wide areas, and Alexis Mac Allister came agonisingly close when his effort from a corner crashed against the crossbar.

The breakthrough finally arrived on 59 minutes. A well-worked move saw Connor Bradley provide the assist, with Florian Wirtz applying the finish to bring the visitors level and restore momentum.

The match appeared to be heading for a dramatic finale — and it delivered. Deep into stoppage time, on 94 minutes, Gakpo rose to meet a pinpoint cross from Jeremie Frimpong, heading home what seemed to be the winning goal.

But Fulham had one final twist left. On 97 minutes, substitute Harrison Reed unleashed a superb long-range strike that flew into the corner, snatching a point and silencing the away end.
