Guirassy strikes as super-sub to seal Dortmund win over Bremen

Borussia Dortmund extended their impressive unbeaten run to ten matches with a convincing 3–0 victory over Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, a result that underlined their growing momentum at a crucial stage of the season.

The hosts made a fast start as Nico Schlotterbeck opened the scoring in the 11th minute, rising highest from a corner to head home. Despite the early breakthrough, the first half told a different story in terms of chances, with Werder Bremen looking the more threatening side. The lack of intensity from Dortmund even drew whistles from the home crowd as the teams headed into the break.

The second half, however, saw a clear shift in tone. Borussia Dortmund increased the tempo and began to impose themselves, and the pressure paid off when Marcel Sabitzer doubled the lead with a precise finish that gave the hosts control of the match.

The final word belonged to the man introduced from the bench. Serhou Guirassy, used as a joker, ended his goal drought in the 83rd minute, calmly slotting home to put the result beyond doubt and spark celebrations inside the stadium.
