Cristiano Ronaldo has continued his standoff with Al-Nassr. After refusing to feature in yesterday’s league match against Al-Riyadh, the Portuguese superstar also failed to report for the team’s training session today.

By doing so, Ronaldo has further intensified tensions with the club, clearly signalling his frustration over the lack of investment in strengthening the squad.

Many observers believe Ronaldo is deliberately pushing Al-Nassr towards a contract termination. Under the terms of the agreement, the club could demand financial compensation from the player, while FIFA regulations would also allow Al-Nassr to impose disciplinary sanctions.

According to reports, senior officials within the Saudi Pro League have already contacted Ronaldo, urging him to end the protest and de-escalate the situation.
