The women’s ice hockey tournament at the 2026 Winter Olympics gets underway on 5 February. A total of 10 teams are taking part, divided into two groups during the preliminary round.

According to the competition regulations, all five teams from Group A will advance to the quarter-finals, where they will be joined by the three best teams from Group B.

The defending Olympic champions are Canada.
