Inter - Atalanta 1:1

League leaders Inter were held to a dramatic 1–1 draw by Atalanta in a tense Matchday 29 encounter in Serie A. The Nerazzurri dominated large spells of the game at San Siro and created several promising chances, but ultimately failed to turn their superiority into a decisive advantage.

Inter took the lead midway through the first half when young forward Pio Esposito finished off a well-worked attacking move, calmly converting to give the hosts a deserved breakthrough. The Milan side continued to push forward, controlling possession and looking the more dangerous team throughout much of the contest.

However, Atalanta refused to back down. The visitors stayed patient and were rewarded late in the match when Nikola Krstović struck in the 82nd minute, firing home to snatch a valuable point for the Bergamo side.
