RB Leipzig - Hoffenheim 5:0

RB Leipzig delivered a devastating statement in the race for a UEFA Champions League spot, dismantling TSG Hoffenheim with ruthless efficiency in a one-sided Bundesliga clash.

The contest was effectively decided before the interval, as RB Leipzig produced a stunning first-half display. Brajan Gruda opened the scoring in the 17th minute, setting the tone for what followed. Shortly after, Christoph Baumgartner doubled the lead with a powerful header.

Both players went on to complete braces before halftime, underlining Leipzig’s clinical edge. Baumgartner grabbed his second with a spectacular overhead kick, while Gruda finished off a precise low cross at the far post, leaving Hoffenheim with no way back.

The tempo understandably dropped after the break, but RB Leipzig still had the final say. Substitute Lukas Klostermann Henrichs, returning after a lengthy injury absence, capped off the performance with a thunderous strike into the top corner.
