Liverpool - Fulham 2:0

Liverpool returned to winning ways in the Premier League, securing a 2–0 victory over Fulham at Anfield and restoring confidence after a disappointing run in the cup competitions.

The breakthrough came in the first half through exciting youngster Rio Ngumoha, who showcased his talent with a brilliant solo effort. The forward beat Timothy Castagne with skill and composure before calmly slotting the ball into the corner, giving the home fans a glimpse of a bright future.

Just four minutes later, Mohamed Salah — who recently confirmed he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season — doubled the advantage with a trademark finish, expertly converting after a well-timed assist from Cody Gakpo.

Fulham responded after the break and created several dangerous moments. A goal from Sasa Lukić was ruled out for offside, while Rodrigo Muniz and Emile Smith Rowe both missed clear chances that could have changed the course of the match.
