Manchester United - Liverpool 3:2

Manchester United delivered a statement victory at a crucial stage of the season, defeating fierce rivals Liverpool to mathematically secure a top-five finish in the Premier League, and with it a return to the UEFA Champions League.

Playing at Old Trafford, the Red Devils came flying out of the blocks with an electric first-half display. Inside just 14 minutes, Matheus Cunha and Benjamin Šeško found the net, giving Manchester United a dream start and leaving Liverpool stunned.

However, in true big-match fashion, the visitors responded immediately after the break. Goals from Dominik Szoboszlai and Cody Gakpo brought Liverpool level, swinging momentum back in their favour and setting up a tense finale.

The decisive moment belonged to Kobbie Mainoo. The young midfielder showed composure beyond his years, unleashing a powerful low strike from outside the box and guiding the ball into the bottom-right corner in one fluid motion.
