AS Roma - Fiorentina 4:0

AS Roma delivered a performance full of authority and attacking flair, sweeping aside Fiorentina 4–0 to firmly reinsert themselves into the race for a Serie A top-four finish. The emphatic result moves the Giallorossi within just one point of Juventus, currently occupying fourth place, and keeps their UEFA Champions League ambitions very much alive.

The hosts set the tone early. Gianluca Mancini opened the scoring in the first half, rising to meet a well-delivered corner from Niccolo Pisilli. Moments later, Wesley doubled Roma’s advantage, finishing off a swift attacking move with a precise first-time strike that left the visitors struggling to respond.

Before the interval, Mario Hermoso effectively put the contest beyond doubt, tapping into an empty net after a low cross from Manu Kone. Fiorentina did threaten briefly, but Riccardo Braschi was denied by the woodwork in what proved to be their closest attempt.

The final word fittingly belonged to Pisilli, who capped an outstanding display by adding a goal to his two assists, heading home a pinpoint delivery from Donyell Malen. While the defeat is heavy, Fiorentina remain on course to secure their Serie A status, aided by slip-ups elsewhere.
