Official: Rudi Garcia Leaves Belgium National Team

Belgium have officially parted ways with head coach Rudi Garcia following the conclusion of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA) confirmed that Garcia's contract will not be renewed, bringing his tenure with the Red Devils to an end by mutual agreement.
Although Rudi Garcia guided Belgium to the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup 2026 in North America, both the coach and the federation agreed that it was the right time to begin a new chapter ahead of the next international cycle.
Garcia took charge of the national team on 1 February 2025, succeeding Domenico Tedesco. During his spell in charge, he secured Belgium's place in UEFA Nations League A and successfully led the team through qualification for the FIFA World Cup 2026, where the Red Devils reached the last eight.
