The draw for the second round of the Carabao Cup has been completed, with Chelsea handed a home tie against Luton Town and Tottenham Hotspur set to welcome Charlton Athletic.

Both Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur will enter the competition earlier than usual this season due to their absence from European football, giving both Premier League clubs an early opportunity to build momentum in the domestic cup.

The second-round matches are scheduled to take place during the week commencing 24 August, with clubs from across the English football pyramid battling for a place in the next round.
