Barcelona maintained their perfect start to the La Liga season with a commanding 3-0 victory over Getafe. Goals from Anthony Gordon, Gabriel Jesus and Jules Kounde secured another three points for the Catalan giants, extending their winning run to eight matches from eight league fixtures.

The hosts wasted little time asserting their dominance, taking the lead in just the second minute through Anthony Gordon. The early breakthrough put Getafe on the back foot, and Barcelona continued to apply pressure as they looked to establish control of the contest.

Gabriel Jesus doubled Barcelona's advantage after capitalising on a defensive error from the visitors. The goal gave the Catalans breathing space and left Getafe with a difficult task against a side enjoying outstanding early-season form.

The final word belonged to Jules Kounde, who completed the scoring in the second half by converting a pass from Lamine Yamal.
