Max Verstappen Dominates Singapore Grand Prix to Claim Commanding Victory

Max Verstappen delivered a commanding performance to win the Singapore Grand Prix.
The latest round of the Formula 1 World Championship brought the world's best drivers to the demanding streets of Singapore, where precision, tyre management and strategy proved crucial. Starting from pole, four-time world champion Verstappen faced his most significant challenge at the opening corner, successfully defending his position against an early attack from Charles Leclerc.
From that point onwards, the Red Bull driver controlled the race with impressive composure. He briefly surrendered the lead during his pit stop, allowing Oscar Piastri to move to the front temporarily. However, Verstappen quickly reclaimed the position once the McLaren driver made his own stop, restoring order at the head of the field and securing a convincing victory.
Leclerc crossed the finish line in second place, completing a strong performance for Ferrari. His team-mate Lewis Hamilton, meanwhile, looked set for a potential podium finish but ultimately slipped down the order following a controversial strategic decision.
During a Virtual Safety Car period, Leclerc made a second pit stop to change tyres, while Hamilton remained on track. The decision proved costly: struggling on worn tyres in the closing stages, the seven-time world champion was overtaken by three rivals and had to settle for sixth place.
Among those benefiting from Ferrari's miscalculation was Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who secured an impressive third place for Mercedes. The young Italian finished ahead of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
