Thierry Henry and Kate Scott to host star-studded Ballon d'Or ceremony in London

The organisers of football’s most prestigious individual awards have confirmed the hosts for next week’s gala ceremony in London, handing stage duties to the popular Champions League broadcast duo of former France forward Thierry Henry and British presenter Kate Scott.
The iconic French marksman expressed his excitement at taking centre stage for the evening, highlighting his long-standing ties to the English capital.
"I'm honoured to be hosting this year's Ballon d'Or," Henry said. "London is the city I call home, and I have a deep connection to its football culture and the passionate fans here, so to be hosting here alongside my friend and colleague Kate feels like a natural fit. It promises to be a brilliant evening celebrating the very best of the game."
The winners of the sport’s ultimate individual accolades will be crowned during the live showcase at the world-famous London Palladium.
