Dmytro Riznyk joins Shakhtar
24-year-old goalkeeper Dmytro Riznyk moves from Vorskla Poltava to Shakhtar. The agreement with the footballer lasts until 2028.
Dmytro Riznyk is a representative of Poltava football. He made his debut in the UPL in October 2019 and became a finalist of the Ukrainian Cup in the very first season. He played a total of 80 matches for Vorskla’s main team, 24 of which were without conceded goals. In the 2022/23 season, he made 17 appearances (15 in the UPL, 2 in the UEFA Conference League qualification).
Dmytro played for Ukraine U19 and advanced to Euro 2018 semi-finals. He won the FIFA World Cup together with Ukraine U20 in 2019.
On November 11, 2021, Dmytro Riznyk made his debut for the Ukraine national team, subbing in the friendly against Bulgaria (1-1). On June 14, 2022, he played his first competitive match for the main team of the country in the UEFA Nations League against Ireland (1-1).
