Head coach of the national team of Ukraine Serhiy Rebrov commented on the strong-willed victory over the team of North Macedonia (3:2) in the Euro 2024 qualification.

— A very important and difficult match. We did not have enough time to prepare for it. But I am grateful to the players. After the first half, we showed a different level of play. We got an important three points and now will prepare for Malta.

I believe that not only we were bad, but North Macedonia also played very well. If you look at their team, it is very serious - this team is very experienced, they controlled the game in the first half. I am very grateful to the guys for the fact that we rebuilt the game after the break. Zabarny's goal was very important. Later we were confident in our abilities.

I believe that after 45 minutes we started to get more intense. A very important goal was scored, then the team believed that we could win. During the break, the players rethought what they could do in the second half and won us the game.
