The Ukrainian team defeated Iceland

Ukrainian national team defeated Iceland in the final playoff match of the Euro 2024 qualifying tournament.

Rebrov's team conceded first in today's match, but were able to turn the game around after the break with two accurate shots from outside the penalty area by Viktor Tsygankov and Mikhailo Mudryk - 2:1.

Thus, this summer the Ukrainian national team will play at Euro 2024 in the group with the teams of Belgium, Slovakia and Romania. It should be noted that the blue-yellows became participants of the continental championship for the fourth time in a row - in 2012, Ukraine was one of the hosts of the tournament, and qualified in 2016 and 2020.

At the three previous European Championships, the Ukrainian national team was only able to make it through the group once, reaching the quarterfinals of Euro 2020.
