The head coach of the Italian national team, Luciano Spalletti, shared his opinion on the Euro 2024 qualifying match against Ukraine, in which his team got the draw they needed (0:0):

"I heard a lot of talk that Italy qualified for the Euros, but with fear. Perhaps this is due to the start of the tournament. Maybe. But I agreed to this job in order to lead the team to the Euro 2024. And I did it.

I liked how we moved the ball in the game against Ukraine. Ukraine did a good job and this match was completely different from our previous, victorious match against North Macedonia."
