The next race of the 2024 Formula 1 season took place today in Belgium.

On the last lap three drivers fought for the victory, being less than a second away from each other. However George Russell never let his teammate Lewis Hamilton get ahead of him, as both Mercedes drivers left McLaren's Oscar Piastri behind. Russell was the only driver to make one pit stop; everyone else made at least two. And this brought the Englishman his second victory of the season.

The next three also finished in the DRS zone from each other in this order - pole position holder Charles Leclerc from Ferrari, championship leader Max Verstappen in Red Bull and his main rival in the 2024 season - Lando Norris from McLaren.
