Carsley named interim England coach
Former England U21 head coach Lee Carsley has been officially appointed by the English Football Association as a coach of the Three Lions national team.
It is reported that the 50-year-old specialist will be an interim head coach. It is still unknown who will become the new full-fledged coach of the England team.
In addition to England youth teams of various ages, Carsley also coached English clubs Coventry, Brentford and Birmingham.
We would like to remind you that after the defeat in the Euro 2024 final from Spain (1:2), Gareth Southgate resigned from the English national team.
Lee Carsley has been appointed interim head coach of the #ThreeLions ahead of the start of our #NationsLeague campaign.
