Daniele De Rossi is no longer Roma's coach. This decision was announced on the official website of the Italian club.

"The decision has been taken in the interest of the team to be able to regain the desired path as soon as possible, at a time when the season is still at the very beginning. Heartfelt thanks to Daniele for the work done in recent months with passion and dedication," the statement reads.

No word yet on who will take over from De Rossi. The management considers former Milan coach Stefano Pioli, however the 58-year-old still has a contract with the Rossoneri. Therefore, in order to sign an agreement with Roma, he will need to terminate his contract with Milan which expires in the summer of 2025.
