Following the departure of Simone Inzaghi, Inter Milan are moving quickly to identify his replacement

Following the departure of Simone Inzaghi, Inter Milan are moving quickly to identify his replacement. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the club has narrowed its shortlist down to two main candidates: Cesc Fàbregas and Roberto De Zerbi.

“Cesc Fabregas and Roberto De Zerbi are the two main candidates to take over as new Inter head coach,” Romano revealed. “Talks to start from today with Inter also being offered more managers but the two main options remain clear.”

Cesc Fàbregas: The Rising Star in Management

The former Arsenal, Barcelona, and Chelsea midfielder has made an impressive start to his coaching career. Currently in charge of Como, Fàbregas guided the newly promoted side to a sensational 10th-place finish in Serie A, earning praise for his tactical innovation and leadership.

Roberto De Zerbi: Proven Experience in Europe

The ex-Shakhtar Donetsk boss has rebuilt his reputation since taking over at Olympique Marseille in the summer of 2024. In his first season, De Zerbi helped the French side finish as runners-up in Ligue 1, showing the same attacking flair and bold philosophy that made his Brighton team one of the most admired in the Premier League.
